1834 Pattern Officer’s Helmet, the front applied with rayed helmet plate bearing the crowned Royal Arms of William IV, over the regimental title, gilt brass skull adorned with applied acanthus decoration, the whole surmounted by oak leaf embossed crest with detachable demi-lion passant finial, complete with velvet backed chinscales with lions paw clasp, and silk and leather lining to the interior, circa 1834
