Imperial German Stick Pin Presented by Kaiser Wilhelm II (1859-1941), probably by court jeweller Godet of Berlin

Circa 1900

23mm x 18mm on 85mm pin

£ 2250

Gold set with diamonds, sapphire, and ruby

The diamond set monogram 'W' surmounted by the ruby set Hohenzollern crown is consistent with the design of the diamond set monogram applied to a presentation gold cigarette case (sold by the Armoury in 2009) presented to the 10th Earl of Kintore as part of the diplomatic mission sent to Berlin to announce the accession of Edward VII. The Kintore case was by Godet of Berlin.
