3rd (Prince of Wales's) Dragoon Guards

1871 Pattern Officer’s helmet of gilt brass, the skull applied with a twelve pointed hobnail star centred on the Garter motto in gilt metal over blue enamel surrounding the Prince of Wales' feathers on a red enamel ground, the whole complete with brass chin scales and black over red horse hair plume.
