A George V Silver Mounted Walnut Skinner’s Company Cigar Box

Made by Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd 

The lid of the figured walnut box is applied with a silver armorial by plaque embossed with the arms of the Skinners’ Company, the front face applied with the Company’s crest in the form of a silver lynx.

The interior of the hinge lid is fitted with a hallmarked silver presentation plaque inscribed ‘The gift of the Skinners’ Company, King George V Jubilee 1935’
